Top 5 Wednesday – Most Frustrating Characters (TV-edition)

Top 5 Wednesday is a group on goodreads and ever week they have a theme and I have decided to join. I might not do it every week and I have decided to switch between tv and books depending on what I see fit. Today the topic is most frustrating characters and since I don’t have that many characters that drive me up the wall from the book world I decided to pick tv characters instead. I guess you can choose to interpret it however you like but I’ve decided to go for characters that annoy me. There are probably other characters that frustrate me more but these were the ones that came to mind:

5. April Kepner – Grey’s Anatomy: This is a character that mostly frustrates me because i find her extremely boring. At one point she is fired for a mistake she makes and my reaction to that was “good, they didn’t fire someone important” and I never really understood the point of bringing her back. I think she is whiny and annoying and when they decided to make her and Jackson (whom I love!!!) a thing I was seriously mad. I know you are supposed to love them but i wanted her to choose the other guy so my Jackson could meet someone better….but no. She is annoying but she is not as annoying as some of the others on this list so she is the lowest on the list.

Eugene Josh McDermitt

4. Eugene Porter – The Walking Dead: I’ve stopped watching this show (I think I will watch it this summer so I can follow it again next season) so I haven’t watched that much of Eugene, but trust me, what I’ve seen has been enough. He is so frustrating! He is selfish, full of himself, annoying has a really ugly haircut and puts some of my favorites in danger. I don’t like him one bit, the only thing I like is that he is a new character that can be sacrificed and used as zombie food.

3. Violette – Mr Selfridge: I was so excited for the third series of Mr Selfridge, but as I mentioned in an earlier post they focused way to much on new characters that the audience didn’t know. Violette, was one of those and it looks like we will get a lot of Violette in the forth season as well. It feels like the writers think they have created a character ala Sybil in Downton Abbey which they haven’t. Violette is spoiled, whiny and immature and I don’t care who she sleeps with and I very rarely agree with her. I hope she moves back to America, preferably in episode one.

BuffyAngel

2. Angel – Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I want to start with pointing out that i didn’t feel this way the first time I watched the show. I quite liked Angel, but then SPIKE! Once you’ve met Spike you realize how extremely boring Angel is. He has no personality what so ever and when I watch his scenes I just want Spike to be there, or Angel not to be there. Many people have suggested I watch the show Angel as well but there is just no way. I just like that show because I don’t have to see Angel in Buffy anymore. I don’t hate him, Buffy is just so much better without him, both the character and the show.

"Breaking Bad" - "Ozymandias"

1. Skyler White – Breaking Bad: Here is the character I hate more than anything. This was such a given. I want to start of by pointing out two things. 1. I DO NOT hate Anna Gunn, only Skyler White. I think she is a really talented actress, otherwise I probably wouldn’t hate her so much. 2, I hate the show too, or I don’t hate it but I think it is overrated. I forced myself to watch three seasons but then I gave up. Skyler just makes the show even worse. Every time her character is shown I won’t to turn off. I like most people I like in real life and get along with a lot of people but if I met Skyler in real life, i would absolutely hate her.

So this was a negative post, haha. I’m not always like this, but here you have my top 5. Who did you miss on this list?
